Larger-Than-Life Sequences in Historic Jhansi
As per sources, the film’s grand action sequences and high-octane war scenes are currently being shot in the historic city of Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. The war drama’s Jhansi schedule kicked off last month, and now, with Sunny Deol on board, the excitement surrounding the project has skyrocketed.
An exclusive picture from the sets showcases Deol posing with co-star Varun Dhawan, director Anurag Singh, and producers Bhushan Kumar and Nidhi Dutta, among others. The image is already making waves among fans, who are eagerly awaiting the sequel to the 1997 blockbuster Border, written, produced, and directed by JP Dutta.

Sunny Deol’s Emotional Announcement
The sequel was officially announced by Sunny Deol in September last year. Taking to social media, the veteran actor shared an emotional message, saying, “27 saal pehle ek fauji ne vada kiya tha ki vo vapas aayega. To fulfill that promise and to salute the soil of India, he is returning).
This heartfelt declaration resonated deeply with fans of the original Border, which remains one of the most iconic war films in Indian cinema.
